Japan's NTT to invest $560 million in NEC to catch up in 5G race

Japanese telecoms company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) will invest 64.5 billion yen ($560 million) in NEC Corp to beef up efforts to develop fifth-generation (5G) wireless technologies.
